3. Information Provided on This Website
The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. Every family law matter is different, and the appropriate course of action will depend on the specific circumstances of each case.
Nothing on this website creates a lawyer–client relationship. A formal engagement letter signed by both parties is required before legal representation begins. If you are uncertain about any aspect of your situation, we warmly encourage you to contact us for a personal conversation.
4. Legal Services
The services listed on this website represent the general scope of work we carry out. Full terms for any engagement — including scope, fees, timelines, and responsibilities — are set out in a separate written engagement letter provided before work commences. Our services include:
- Initial Family Conversation (฿1,500): A private consultation to understand your circumstances and available options
- Parenting and Support Arrangements (฿6,000): Assistance shaping fair arrangements for children, support, and shared responsibilities
- Representation in Family Proceedings (฿9,800): Careful representation in formal family proceedings, including preparation and documentation
Prices listed are starting rates and may vary depending on the complexity of the matter. We will always discuss fees with you clearly before any work is undertaken.
5. Fees and Payment
Our fees are set out in the engagement letter for each matter. We aim to be transparent and straightforward about costs at all stages.
- Fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
- Payment terms will be specified in the engagement letter
- We may require a deposit or advance payment before work begins
- Disbursements (such as court filing fees or translation costs) are charged separately and will be agreed in advance
If your circumstances change during an engagement and additional work is required, we will discuss any adjustment to fees before proceeding.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all information shared with us with the utmost discretion. Details of your matter will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law, where necessary to provide our services (for example, involving a barrister or court officer), or where you have given your consent. Our approach to personal data is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, and design — is the property of Sai Yai Law or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not use, copy, or adapt any content from this website without our prior written permission.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to external websites for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. A link from our site does not constitute an endorsement of the linked organisation or its services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Sai Yai Law shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- Reliance on general information provided on this website without obtaining formal legal advice
- Temporary unavailability or technical errors on this website
- Actions taken or not taken on the basis of this website's content
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for any matter where limitation of liability is not permitted by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
